Let's begin the Remix Machine story in New Orleans with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. We met many moons ago on the streets of New Orleans by mutual friend Greg Lucas who immediately had me up in the mix with the second line & some after-parties with members of the band. We then went on to experience the bands 1st visit & collaboration in Cuba (& mine as well) the minute Obama opened things up. Our friendship & mutual support is stronger than ever today & this was one of the remixes they trusted me with back in 2015 for their smash hit That's It! The remix never came out (some major label logistics at the time) but here it is for you right here. Hope you enjoy & give it a spin for the roots & culture.
