We released two albums & remix albums of Brooklyn based Sudanese group Alsarah and the Nubatones on Wonderwheel Recordings. This is from the album "Manara" & Nar means Fire. I met Kiko in his home studio in Mallorca for this remix & we used a combination of his classic sounds including the TR-8 for drums, Roland TB-3 for bass-line, Korg MS-2000R for more synths, mixed through his 24 track GB 8 mixing board the old-school way. You know that feeling when somehting just clicks fast? We have had that chemistry on each of the four tracks we did together, tasting what came out the kitchen right away & feeling like we can serve it to guests immediately with confidence.
