“Kumba EP” comes straight from the deep electronic afro-Peruvian roots of World renowned dj and producer Vitu Verera. With remixes for Novalima & releases on New Latam Beats & Nervous Records, Vitu is a rising star out of the South American electronic dance music scene. To Vitu, “Kumba is a synthesis, the balancing, the outline of a new way of revitalizing the music the in its first form is on the basis of rhythm, uses its analog sound, as mentioned, the rhythm. Beginning of all movement, heartbeat and therefore its vital movement, in the form of music, towards the new fusion with new codes that vary according to the place where it coincides with some other culture.” The 2 songs, which are meant to be played seamlessly for the full affect, touch on the afro-peruvian rhythms & depths of electronica for dance-floors everywhere.
